ZipZop is a simple and effective 150g flipper combat robot kit, intentionally designed to be the easiest way to get started in robot combat.

  • No soldering: ZipZop's wiring harness comes pre-made, with wires cut to exact lengths so every component naturally lands in the right place.
  • No programming: We've already done the controller setup for you. Turn your robot on, plug in the Combat-Ready SD Card, bind in just a few button presses, and you're ready to drive.
  • No confusion: Only two types of screws and one screwdriver for the entire build, a clear step-by-step instruction booklet, and full video walkthrough.

 

Once you put ZipZop together, it's ready to beat the competition! 

  • Competition-legal in the 150g fairyweight class per the SPARC ruleset. Just go to robotcombatevents.com and register for an event near you!
  • The chassis, front forks, and flipper are made of PEBA, a tough, bouncy material that flexes instead of shattering. It's super resilient against impacts and spinning weapons!

  • Controller for life: The included RadioMaster Pocket controller works with any future combat robot, drone, or RC vehicle you ever build. It's a buy-it-for-life piece of the kit!
  • Unlimited upgradability: ZipZop's front forks and wheel guards use "dovetail" slots to make them easy to replace OR upgrade with new forks that you design and print yourself! Base CAD files are included with your purchase.
  • Room to Experiment: Without wheels, front forks, top plate, or flipper arm, ZipZop weighs about ~90g, leaving you ~60g of headroom to design and experiment with swapping in new parts! The possibilities are endless!

 

Already have a compatible controller? The Malenki Nano receiver in the kit uses the AFHDS2A (Flysky FS2A) protocol. If your existing controller already supports AFHDS2A (or has a compatible multi-protocol module), check out the controller-free kit version.
