The Malenki-Nano is a tiny board designed to wrap up all the core functionalities and complex wiring of a 150-gram or 1-lb combat robot into a single PCB to massively reduce space. It includes the following functionality onboard:
- Three brushed electronic speed controllers set up as two drive motors and one weapon motor (~1.8A continuous per channel, peak ~2.2A)
- Integrated Flysky 2A (AFHDS2A) R/C receiver with battery voltage and signal telemetry
- Dual PWM channels for external brushless ESCs or servo signal
- Power and status indicator light
- Built-in mixing and toggled driving inversion
- Automatic low-voltage shutdown to avoid LiPo damage
- Servo-stretching mode
- Pads and through-holes allow for soldering on either side of the board
- All under 2.5 grams!
Gone are the days of complex wiring and mixing! All of the information needed to wire up the Malenki Nano is included below. See the pictures for example wiring used in ZipZop, a 150-gram servo lifter robot using N20 brushed motors!
The Malenki-Nano is rated for 1S-2S voltage. For higher voltages, use the Malenki-HV, which is rated for 2S-4S voltage.
To reduce risk of fire, when powering your wired-up Malenki-Nano for the first time, double check your soldering and always use a smart smoke stopper such as the VIFLY ShortSaver V2 or similar.
Please refer to the documentation below for more information about configuring and setting up the Malenki-Nano.
